113 Employees Honored at “Partners in Dedication” Ceremony
This past Tuesday, June 11th, 2019, Athena held our annual Partners in Dedication event. This year it was hosted at The Country Club of Farmington. This event is in place to recognize our committed employees who have been with us for ten, twenty, and thirty years. Their dedication to our organization and quality care has been proven through the years, as they have made a special commitment to their residents, patients, and co-workers.
Tom Walkuski, Director of Personnel Management, who presented the awards said, “Athena provides so many great opportunities for employee advancement and reasons to work here. We’re so happy our employees choose to be with us.”
A total of 113 employees from 17 Athena centers were recognized for their devotion to providing quality care to residents and patients. Eleven employees were recognized for thirty years of working with us. Additionally, twenty-nine employees were recognized for twenty years of working with us. Finally, eighty-three employees were recognized for ten years of working with us.
Larry Santilli, President and C.E.O., said “You are all exceptional – the shining stars of Athena and I appreciate your dedication to Athena and your residents and co-workers.” We want to congratulate and thank all of those who attended the event!
Last year, 108 employees were recognized at the same event which has taken place since 2004.
