Marlborough Hills Welcomes Women Leaders to Celebrate Women’s History Month

MARLBOROUGH, M.A. — Residents and staff gathered at Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center on Thursday, March 30th, to celebrate Women’s History Month with a Meet and Greet event featuring women leaders across different industries.

Speakers consisted of Miss Massachusetts 2022 and WBZ/CBS Reporter, Katrina Kincade, Director of Community Affairs for Gov. Maura Healy, Yarlennys Villaman, and Mrs. Massachusetts Continental 2023, Cynthia Blanc Preiss MacLean, who is also a multicultural philanthropist. Preiss MacLean is a multiple pageant title winner and uses her pageant platform and organization Widows to Windows to help raise awareness about the traumatic impacts of being left a widow, especially after losing a loved one to suicide.

Other presenters at the event included personal chef and owner at ShamHouse Chefs, Nija Lightfoot, and Boston-based private chef Alexis Assad.

Residents and staff enjoyed presentations from each of the guest speakers during the Meet and Greet as they shared personal stories about their own experience and their history of how they got to where they are today.

The dining team at Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center provided refreshments including a charcuterie platter and appetizers.
