PLANTSVILLE, C.T. — C.N.A. Sherri Miron at The Summit At Plantsville has been helping residents and supporting the nursing staff at the Connecticut facility for nearly 40 years.
In her role has a unit secretary, she assists with medical records, filing paperwork, making and going to doctor appointments with residents, and much more. She said the day is never the same. When asked why she’s stayed for 38 years, her answer is simple.
“I like my job,” she said.
And the team likes having her. Director of Nursing Gail Moutinho described Miron as a “true asset” to the center.

She has been able to do a lot over the years including building close relationships with the residents and staff. She looks forward to many more years with her team and enriching the residents lives.
