As the Clinical Systems Analyst, you assume a pivotal role in sustaining and enhancing our clinically focused applications and support initiatives. This multifaceted role requires a comprehensive understanding of clinical EMR’s, workflows, and best practices in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting and general knowledge of the applications utilized across our facilities. Your responsibilities will extend to managing the entire lifecycle of these applications, including upgrades, training, patching, and day-to-day support.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferably holds an RN, LPN license or has worked in a Clinical Informatics capacity.
  • Experience in administration of healthcare operational applications (PointClickCare, NetHealth, Matrix Care, OnShift a plus).
  • Must have strong organization skills both written and verbal needed to support.
  • Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or SNF Management company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Application Lifecycle Management: Under the supervision of the Director of Business Systems and Development, lead and execute strategic lifecycle management activities, including upgrades, patching, and system enhancements to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Day-to-Day Support: Provide hands-on support to our clinical applications, addressing issues, troubleshooting, user administration, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless operations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders to comprehend processes, identifying areas for improvement. Utilize creative thinking to refine and enhance these processes, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Stay apprised of laws and regulations relating to job responsibilities, e.g., EEO, OSHA, patient rights, fraud/abuse laws, PHI and HIPAA.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of application changes, end-user tip sheets, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions to streamline future support efforts.
