Centenarian Celebration: Lanessa Celebrates 105th Resident Birthday

WEBSTER, M.A. — Residents and staff at Lanessa Extended Care gathered on January 13th to celebrate a remarkable milestone: the 105th birthday of Nathalie, a resident at Lanessa who has called the center home for just over two years.

To mark this special occasion, Town of Webster Selectman Mark Rogers attended the celebration to present Nathalie and her family with a commemorative certificate, honoring her incredible life and legacy.

Nathalie’s family, including her daughter and granddaughter, joined fellow residents and staff in sharing laughter, hugs, and cake during her birthday celebration.

Born in 1920, during the era of flapper dresses, jazz music, and silent films, Nathalie has lived through over a century of history, embodying resilience and grace every step of the way.

“It has been an absolute joy to get to know Nathalie and have her as part of our Lanessa family,” said Recreation Director Jennifer Vail. “Celebrating this incredible milestone with her is truly special, and we’re so honored to be part of such a memorable moment in her life.”
