The primary purpose of the Recreation/Activities Assistant is to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by Senior Leadership to assure that an ongoing program of activities designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interest and the physical, mental and psycho-social well-being of each resident is maintained.
As part of the Activities Team, you are responsible and accountable for carrying out your assigned duties and you report directly to the Activities Director.
Must be a qualified Therapeutic Recreation who is credentialed by the State of MA and is eligible for certification as a CTRS. Experience in a supervisory capacity in a health care setting is preferred for CT….
