The primary purpose of your position is to plan, organize, develop and lead the overall operation of the Housekeeping/Laundry Departments in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by Senior Leadership to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
Maintain the department for labor and supplies within budget guidelines. Taking a leadership role in such areas as mentoring, teamwork, development, and problem solving with peers/management team which would encompass participating in the interview process, evaluation process and disciplinary process of housekeeping/laundry personnel. Serves as a positive role model with peers.
