The primary purpose of your position is to assist in the day-to-day accounting function of the facility in accordance with current applicable accounting and cost reimbursement principles relating to the long-term care operations, and as may be directed by the Business Office Manager or Administrator.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must possess an associate’s degree in Accounting and/or an equivalent of two (2) years training and experience in health care accounting, billing & collections.

EXPERIENCE

Must have as a minimum two (2) years experience in bookkeeping or accounting practice.  Experience in health care accounting preferred but not required.
