We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Biller to join our dynamic care team at Abbott Terrace Health Center in Waterbury!

The Accounts Receivable Biller is responsible for assisting the director with managing the day-to-day operations of the business office, billing facility charges to the appropriate payor, collecting outstanding Accounts Receivables, and assisting with the resident personal needs fund.

Experience:

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in nursing home billing is required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care, Private and Co-Insurance billing in a nursing home setting
  • Bill Private and co-insurance charges
  • Assist with Tracking daily census, daily deposits, and perform monthly reconciliation
  • Submit bills to TPL payers for payment or denials
  • Track and process all documents necessary for State of CT pay starts
  • Monthly Gap billing
  • Assist director with all collections
  • Perform account analysis to resolve non-payment issues
  • Work with families, attorneys, and agencies to assist in processing Medicaid applications
  • Process HMS Audits
  • Good communication, organizational, telephone, and computer skills
  • Other duties as assigned.
