- High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in clerical. On-the-job training provided in scheduling and medical terminology.
- Organize, prioritize, and coordinate all nursing staff schedules.
- Develop/utilize a master schedule at all times.
- Post staffing schedule 2-4 weeks in advance, minimum.
- Identify staffing problems, take initiative to resolve, communicate to DNS and/or Administrator.
- Update and prepare payroll in ADP for Corporate Bookkeeper on a daily/weekly basis.
- Maintain daily staffing sheets and DPH required staff sheet.
- Seek opportunities to fill open positions in a manner which limits overtime.
- Ensure adequate levels of nursing supplies are available for staff.
- Collaborate with staff on purchasing of needed supplies.
- Seek to meet all staff/patient/resident supply needs within scope of budgetary parameters.
- Stock supplies.
- Compare bills against packing slips to make sure that charges are correct.
- Other duties assigned by managerial team.
